Navigate Dental Insurance in Rapid City SD
At Fibonacci Dental, we understand that dental insurance can feel complicated. Our goal is to help you navigate your benefits as smoothly as possible so you can focus on what matters most — achieving and maintaining a healthy smile.
While we are happy to assist with insurance questions and claims, it is ultimately the patient’s responsibility to understand their individual plan, coverage details, and limitations. Because there are many variations in insurance policies, coverage can differ greatly from one plan to another.
Our priority is to help you maximize your insurance benefits whenever possible — but even more importantly, to help you achieve excellent oral health in Rapid City SD.
Insurance Plans & Preferred Provider Status
Fibonacci Dental accepts most dental insurance plans and is happy to work with a wide variety of carriers.
We are preferred providers with:
- Delta Dental
- MetLife
- United Concordia
As a courtesy to our patients, we are able to file claims with most dental insurance companies. Being a preferred provider means we have a contractual agreement with those specific carriers listed above. If we are not a preferred provider with your plan, you may still use your benefits in many cases, depending on your individual policy.
Because dental plans vary widely, we encourage patients to contact our office if they have questions about their specific coverage. Our team is happy to help review your benefits and explain how they may apply to your treatment.
How Insurance Works at Fibonacci Dental
Coverage Verification
As a courtesy, our team will verify your benefits prior to treatment whenever possible. Please note that insurance verification is based on the information provided by your insurance company and is only an estimate — not a guarantee of payment. Final coverage is determined by your insurance carrier after the claim is processed.
Claim Submission
Once treatment is completed, we will submit your claim to your insurance provider if we are able to do so. We work with most insurance companies to help streamline this process for you.
If your insurance requires you to submit claims independently, we will provide proper documentation to make the process as simple as possible.
Payment & Estimated Patient Portion
Your estimated patient portion is due at the time of service.
After your insurance processes the claim:
- If there is a remaining balance, a statement will be sent to you.
- If there is a credit on your account, a refund will be issued promptly.
In certain cases, payment arrangements may be available. If needed, these arrangements must be made prior to the day of treatment. Our team is happy to discuss options in advance to help you plan accordingly.
Our Commitment to You
Dental insurance is a valuable tool, but it should not dictate your health. While we strive to help you maximize your benefits, treatment recommendations are always based on what is best for your long-term oral health — not simply what your insurance covers.
We are happy to provide guidance and assistance whenever possible and to answer questions about your estimated benefits.
If you have questions about your specific plan, please contact our office at (605) 348-0831. Our team is here to help.
